The AP Range of ATM Access Processors provides a flexible solution to ATM CPE and Concentration.
There are three members of the AP range, the AP3000, AP4000 and the AP8000. For applications where in - band management is not required AP4000 Lite and AP8000 Lite are available.
Each product can take any combination of Universal Interface Modules to provide user and network interfaces, giving maximum flexibility and cost effectiveness.

Designed for connecting satcom, routers and radio systems to Encryption Equipment, the Metrodata Baseband converter was developed to compliment new serial link and bulk cryptos using the LVDS/ EIA644 interface.
Metrodata's BC2x00 family of Baseband Converters allow the latest generation of Serial Link and Bulk Encryption Devices using the EIA530 interface to be connected to HSSI satcoms equipment, routers and radio systems.
The DC1000 spans the gap between the synchronous interface of a bridge or router
and the E1 leased line.
The DC1000 offers an X.21 interface and an E1 line interface with BNC or RJ45
connector options.

The DC1200 provides a new level of price/performance for connecting bridges and routers to unstructured E1 G.703 2 Mbps leased lines. A G.703 interface is required to connect a LAN bridge or router to a 2 Mbps leased line.
The DC2000 enables the connection of an E1 G.703 2 Mbps leased line to DTE equipment such as a router presenting an EIA-530, V.35 or X.21 interface.
The DC3000 spans the gap between the synchronous interface of a bridge or router and the E1 leased line on a fractional E1 basis of 64Kbps per timeslot, up to a maximum of 31 timeslots for a single E1 line.

The DC3200 provides a new level of price/performance in connecting switches and routers to a structured E1 G.703/G.704 2.048 Mbps leased line. Connecting a LAN bridge or router to a 2 Mbps leased line requires a G.703 Interface.
DC3445: E3/DS3 to HSSI Interface Converter
The DC3445 provides a new level of price/performance in connecting
bridges and routers to E3 34.368Mbps or DS3 44.736Mbps leased lines.
Connecting a LAN bridge or router to a leased line can require a G.703
Interface.
The Emux provides a simple effective solution for E1 service delivery over a fibre infrastructure.
The Emux offers conversion between multiple E1 ports (120 ohm RJ45 connectors) and a resilient fibre port supported via a pair of SFP connectors, with 4, 8 or 16-port E1 versions available.
The resilient 1+1 fibre interface offers automatic switchover when a fibre fault occurs.
SFP fibre modules enable many types of fibre interfaces to be supported including multimode, singlemode, CWDM and DWDM.
The Emux has several LEDs for displaying current status, plus comprehensive configuration and diagnostics via a menu driven user interface.
Designed for the Gigabit Ethernet arena the FC-GigE fibre converter offers a low cost conversion of 1000Base-SX 50/125u or 62.5/125u multi mode fibre with a maximum range of 550m; to a 1000Base-LX interface with a range of 10km when used with 9/125u Single Mode Fibre
The Metrodata FC1X00 provides a high performance for extending and interconnecting local communication infrastructures (E1) using fibre cable.
Two versions of the FC2X00 both cater for Singlemode fibre connection – the FC2000 for shorthaul and the FC2500 for longhaul. [Longhaul, as the description implies, operates over greater distances of singlemode fibre]
The FC3X00 will extend E3/DS-3 over several kilometres. The three FC3X00 models provide single mode short haul, single mode long haul or multimode fiber interfaces using SC connectors.
The FC4X00 fiber converter provides a new level of price/performance
for interfacing between an STM-1/OC-3 electrical interface and an
STM-1/OC-3 fiber interface (single mode or multi mode).

The FC6X00 is designed to need minimal installation in a desk-top or rack situation, and have integral power supply, and so are self-contained – just connect the fibre connectors and power and the FC6X00 transports data at any rate up to 622Mbit/s.
The FCC9000 is an I/O module for use in the MetroConnect system. The FCC9000 occupies a single slot in the MetroConnect MC12000 chassis and is fully “Hot Swap” compliant to ease maintenance and the provisioning of new services.
